# Tips & Strategy

Gangster Arena is all about game theory, meaning the optimal strategy depends on what you think other players will do. Being efficient is more important that spending a lot. 

It has been designed to give busy degens simple ways to play and come out ahead. For example:

* Play in PVP mind games in gang wars to get rewards 
* Farm XGOLD to build up an economy to win late game
* Stack safehouses early to gain reputation while its cheap
* Min-max your gang progression by buying or levelling
* Bid in the auction house to win $GOLD
* Managing your pistols and shields to maximise raid points
