New Season: Stash

Welcome to Season 8!

Eight seasons of fun. Lets run it back.

This season we have focused on reworking the raid system. This should add fresh strategies into the game and help solve issues around win trading.

This season will last for 12 days with midseason rewards after 5 days.


Rewards

We have committed 1 ETH + 0.1% $xU + 44,775 Blast Gold.

In addition, the prize pool will grow whenever players spend:

  • 100% of ETH spent in Gangster presale

  • 90% of $GOLD spend to player rewards (remaining 10% burned)

Raid for Stash

Raid points have been removed from the game.

Each player will now have a stash. 50% of ETH spent in the presale + 35% of $GOLD spent in-game will go to their stash. Players can attack others in raids to steal their stash, which gets paid out at the end of the season.

How it works:

  • Successful attacks or defences will steal up to 15% of the opposing players stash

  • Amount stolen is based on each players attack contribution and stash values. In general - bigger risk means bigger reward.

  • Players who opt out (by using 0 gangsters in gang wars) will lose a max of 5% of their stash

Important: Since players may buy presale NFTs using a different wallet than the one they use to play the game, we will be assigning ETH from the presale to player stashes based on the number of gangsters owned by players [12] hours after the season starts. If you buy in the presale but do not transfer Gangsters to your game account in time you will NOT get ETH in your stash


$xU and Blast Gold

Previously, $xU and Blast Gold was distributed based on U points. With the removal of raid points we have also removed U points.

Instead, Blast Gold and $xU will be distributed proportional to each players reputation at the midseason and end of season leaderboard.


Eligibility for free Thugs & Gangsters

We like to reward past players, but have found some players abuse this to try to extract rewards. In addition, we have seen diminishing returns in terms of attracting new players onto the Blast ecosystem via the giveaway of Thugs.

For this season we are reducing the accessibility of free-to-play and focused on rewarding past players more.

Only the top 100 ranked players in Season 6 & 7 will receive free Thugs and free Gangster WLs.


Balance Changes

  • Changed cost of pistols and shields to a flat amount of 300 xGOLD rather than scaling

  • Increased max spend on pistols and shields from 150% of daily earning to 200% of daily earning

  • Reduced xGOLD claim cooldown to 6 hours

  • Increased xGOLD earn multiplier augment: 1.2x / 1.3x / 1.5x / 1.8x

  • Increased Goon augment: 6 / 12 / 30 / 60
