Gangster

Most well rounded mobster in Gangster Arena. Great starting unit.

Will give you passive xGOLD generation, lets you fight in gang wars, and gives some reputation. Like most things in the game, the price of Gangsters will fluctuate based on how many players buy them.

Goon

Gangsters have sidekicks called Goons.

They passively farm a lot of xGOLD, but that's about it.

Thugs

Bottom of the pecking order. But free to start! Automatically generates $POOR, which is used in the auction house.

Safehouse

Every gang needs a good base.

Buying safehouses is how you stack reputation, which is needed to win reputation rank rewards.

$GOLD

$GOLD is a deflationary, ERC20 token used to play the game.

Think of $GOLD as a poker tournament buy-in. Most of it goes to player rewards and part of it gets burned.

xGOLD

xGOLD is an offchain currency generated by units.

POOR

POOR is an non-tradable currency used to buy thugs or bid for rewards in the auction house.

Claim

xGOLD earned from Gangsters and gang wars has to be claimed before they can be spent.

Gang Wars

Gang wars occur twice a day and is a game-theory based mini-game to progress in the game

Players must strategically deploy their gangsters:

  • Earn: Generate bonus xGOLD

  • Defend: Stop incoming attackers

  • Attack: Steal xGOLD and raid points

Raid points stolen depends on your size and contribution.

Gangs with more raid power can get more rewards but also take on bigger risk.

Pistols & Shields

Sometimes the thug life is about stealing bags, not getting them yourself.

Players may buy pistols and shields to increase their attack and defence in the next gang war

Augments

Pay $GOLD and receive a random power boost from a selection of three Augment choices!

Re-roll the selection up to 10 times to ensure you find the one that best suits your strategic needs

Auction House

Players can spend xGOLD to win $GOLD by playing a blind auction bidding mini game.

Bids are non-refundable and the largest ones win. Get ready for some mind-games!

Daily Spin

Sometimes you aren't sure what to do. If so, you can always spin to win.

Spinning costs $GOLD and can result in some major payouts.

Reputation Score

Reputation measures the size of your gang and determines end of season reputation rewards

Stash

Each player has a Stash of rewards that can get stolen or grow each gang war

Game-end timer

The game ends when the timer reaches 0, after which everything but $GOLD is wiped

Leaderboard Rewards

Top players ranked by reputation and raid points will earn a share of rewards. Rewards typically include:

  • $GOLD (from player spend)

  • ETH

  • $xU (from Uncharted foundation)

  • Blast Gold allocations

Referrals

Refer friends to give them a discount on $GOLD spent, and also get part of what they spend
